MX TRANSMISSSION

MX Transmission is an ambitious and unprecedented showcase of video art, animation, and other forms of digital moving image of mexican artists in the UK. This presentation seeks to demonstrate the wide diversity of practice of some of the most prolific artists from the Mexican art scene from the last 5 years.

Works feature range from the video art of Hector Falcon and Roberto De La Torre, through to Edgar Olvera and Antonio Domínguez iconic Live Cinema series of Mexico City.

TECH NOIR is a 2010 project from Proyecto Antipasto and is a vital contribution to MX Transmission. This project is a series of reflexions on video from Mexican artists curated by Ana Montiel, Lucia Cavalchini and Rodrigo Gonzáles. TECH NOIR was presented as part of the Festival Internacional Cervantino 2010. It was exhibited from the 14th of October to the 12th of December in the Video Lounge of Jesús Gallardo’s gallery, León, Guanajuato, Mexico
